This Wednesday, May 24, 2023, the "Collectif morts de la rue de Bruxelles" invites you to its annual tribute ceremony to the persons who had a street life and died in 2022. Our team will be present and invites you to join them to commemorate each of them at their true value.

Almost 80 street deaths recorded in 2022

In 2022, we deplore the death of 78 people who lived on the street. They were found at home, in the hospital, in an emergency shelter, in a makeshift shelter, on a sidewalk, a public road, in the metro…

"Lives taken too soon, partly because certain structural measures are not decided or implemented."

Let's give these people back their dignity even after death

Aged between 18 and 71, they were called Marcel, Paolo, Gaëlle, Nathalie, Katia, Mohamed, Patrick, Oualid... We will also have a thought for others, whose death we unfortunately don't know yet.

You too, you wish to pay tribute to the people who passed away too soon?

Join us this Wednesday, May 24, 2023:

  • at 11.00 a.m. for the tribute ceremony at the Brussels City Hall (meeting on site at 10.45 a.m.)
  • at 14:00 p.m. for the recollection at the tree (place de l'Albertine, near the Central Station)
